Since he wanted a large outdoor space to enjoy and entertain guests, we used Standard, or Brush-Finished Concrete because it’s attractive and the most cost effective way to cover a large area.
The patio is divided into two areas and separation is achieved with the use of two levels. Stacked concrete stones help give a visual separation, protect guests using the upper level from accidentally stumbling over the edge, helps direct traffic and gives a sense of intimacy to the lower patio area, which features a firepit.
